Washing your face is the most basic and essential step of any routine. Our skin comes in contact with environmental pollutants, dirt and other factors each day that should be gently removed.
Too many skincare routines focus only on the face, but balanced skincare rituals should take care of the entire body.
Body and Face
Indeed the skin of the characteristic is different (facial skin is thinner than the skin on our bodies), and the body’s skin is diverse. However, the fat layer under the body skin is generally thicker than on the face.
Our body skin is still our natural protection from external pollution or impurities. A healthy routine must take the face and the body skin into the equation.
Morning
Step 1: Body Cleansing & moisturising the skin
We suggest selecting the water temperature to cool or tepid water setting, as it is both relaxing and calming. A steaming shower is often too hot for the face and can lead to dryness or heightened sensitivity. Cleanse your body with water and moisten the Skincare cleanser.
We recommend alternating the rich moisturising and soothing cleanser and the pore cleaning and hydrating cleanser. Both cleansers will remove the excess oils and impurities while moisturising the skin. The skin on the body has fewer oil-producing sebaceous glands than the face, so dryness tends to be more of a concern.
Massage it over your body, adding water as needed to create a thick, dense foam. Once you’ve finished washing up, rinse your face thoroughly and pat your skin dry with a clean towel. You can use our 2-side scrub and massage glove to enhance the scrubbing of your body.

Step 2: Face Cleansing & preparing the skin
For the face, the skin cell turnover rate is higher than the body, and we need to apply a very soft exfoliant to remove the dead skin, Sweat and Oil (and the impurities if you did not have time to do the evening routine.
The right formula cleanses your skin without stripping essential, healthy oils. We are against exfoliating scrubs, as they contain abrasive ingredients that damage the face skin’s delicate epidermis.
We recommend using Moshi cleansing and exfoliating sponge Green tea or Charcoal to help give your skin a smooth and glowing look without the harsh irritation of a physical scrub. Moshi is Dermatologists’ favourite as an exfoliant that’s not even somewhat irritating to the skin. 100% plant-based sponge help to naturally cleanse the skin without, again, stripping oil.
Use light circular motions all over your face to lift and eradicate impurities, especially around the nose, eyebrows and eyes.
We do not recommend adding a cleanser, but if you are adding a cleanser, rinse between each use, and then use over the face with water alone to finish your cleansing routine.

Step 3: Toner & Serum or lifestyle ?
Many skin experts will recommend using the toner, then serum and eventually an additional moisturising cream. We will not recommend this as they could contain an extensive list of chemicals with some that may conduct to allergy or don’t have any benefit for your skin.
We always wonder why we should fix the skin instead of preventing it. The science behind skincare products has come a long way, but there is still no such thing as an instant fix. As the skin reflects your lifestyle, we recommend paying attention to your lifestyle.
Firstly sleep enough: Sleep deprivation may affect the production of collagen, resulting in a breakdown in the barrier function of the skin and mucous membranes. Secondly, adopt a healthy diet; Unhealthy food (junk food, deep-fried food…) can lead to skin issues. Many studies have shown that skin is often triggered by fat and refined carbohydrates in the diet.
Step 4: Always sun cream
The sun can directly damage your skin, and it’s crucial to have good sun protection.
All the experts unanimously agreed that sunscreen is, hands down, the essential skin care product.
We recommend sun creams with protection based on metallic component such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Eco-friendly, they do not pollute our environment with dangerous chemicals. The chemical sun cream is the leading root cause of the destruction of our precious sea corals.
Evening
Face cleansing
The evening routine aims to remove the impurities and the pollution of the day, so it’s essential to focus on the face. We do not recommend using a soap but only a gentle Moshi sponge cleanser. In your nighttime routine, you will concentrate on removing makeup and dirt.
Your skin will never look better than when you cleanse with water and a Moshi sponge. We recommend Moshi Pure or Moshi cherry blossom for the evening.
